The Dutch water sector will be making a big splash at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai with the Holland Water Week, showcasing the best of Dutch delta- and water technology (4 - 11 June 2010).

To emphasize the importance of international cooperation and engaging young generations, ForeignTalent has been appointed to organise the Holland Water Challenge, an exciting competition for Chinese water engineering students. The competition will inspire the students to propose innovative solutions to global water technology challenges.

The main themes for the competition are Drinking Water & Millennium Development Goals, BOT & Water Reuse, Wastewater & Energy, Water & Urban Quality and Water & Environment.

After several rounds of competition in the coming months, the Grand Final will take place during of the Holland Water Week, on the 6th of June, at a dinner with prominent guests from both China and the Netherlands.
