Following an initial labour market study focusing on engineering graduate potential for Dutch companies in Australia last year, ForeignTalent successfully launched its Holland Water Challenge programme during the Ozwater conference in May.
The first Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge was officially announced on the 9th of May by H.E. Willem Andreae, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Australia (picture right, with Gregor van Essen of ForeignTalent, left). The announcement was made at the Ozwater conference and exhibition in Sydney in conjunction with a special workshop organised in partnership between the Dutch water sector and the Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management.
Supporting ambitious growth objectives, The Australia-Netherlands Water Challenge is an important corporate and employer branding initiative for the participating organisations, including Royal Haskoning, DHV, Van Oord, Fugro and Deltares. The programme is actively supported by the Netherlands Water Partnership and the Netherlands Embassy.
